Facundo Barreyra Trio performs original compositions by Facundo Barreyra, where the musical elements of Jazz are mixed with

elements of Argentine Music (Folklore and Tango),

Chamber Music and improvisation.

Facundo Barreyra Trio is made up of the classic instrumentation of

the jazz trio, consisting of Piano, Double Bass and Drums.

With the particular addition of the bandoneon,

played by Facundo Barreyra (Buenos Aires, Argentina), who plays both instruments, drums and bandoneon alternately,
many times in the same composition.

On the piano we find the virtuoso Stefan Weissleder (Germany), and on the double bass the great musician
Philip Wipfler (Germany).

In addition to their talent, they are great improvisers and

compose music that is performed by the Facundo Barreyra Trio,

thus creating a varied repertoire born from the meeting of two continents,

South America and Europe.
